Historic Rally Car Register

The Historic Rally Car Register (HRCR), founded in 1984, is the leading club for those interested in historic rallying and fosters interest in and organizes events for the kinds of cars that took part in rallies in the fifties, sixties and seventies.

Championships are run within the UK for both Road and Stage Rally competitors

Cars running under the auspices of the HRCR must comply with detailed technical regulations that only allow performance-enhancing modifications that are period to the car. Safety considerations allow the fitting of modern competition seats and harnesses, and roll-cages.

Sunbeam Racing

This is a website dedicated to maintaining interest in the Talbot Sunbeam and maintaining contact between those using Sunbeam's for racing and rallying.

Tour of Mull Rally

The Tour of Mull was the UK's first closed road stage rally.  Organised by the 2300 Club and run every October, the Tour is a firm favourite amongst club rally enthusiasts.  After marshalling on the event for many years Sideways Motorsport will be competing in the Tour of Mull for the first time in 2000.

Walsham-Le-Willows

Not many would expect a rural village like Walsham-Le-Willows to have it's own motorsport team. In fact Walsham is an idyllic village in Suffolk, which provides the perfect setting for keen enthusiasts to pursue such a hobby. There has been a garage existing in the village since before the first car (it used to serve the horses and carriages) and Reg currently maintains a historic feel by specializing in restoration of vehicles.

Walsham offers a wealth of attractions and businesses and is well worth a visit for a high quality butchers shop and a wonderful range of products in the wine shop. For more information on what Walsham has to offer, please visit the Walsham-Le-Willows web site.
